Iconic Swedish musician and producer Peter TƤgtgren, who has worked with genre titans like Sabaton, Amon Amarth, Dimmu Borgir, Celtic Frost in the past, launched PAIN in 1996 as a side project combining electronic with heavy music and try out different soundscapes than his death metal group Hypocrisy would allow for.
Being a masterful songwriter, TƤgtgren quickly developed PAIN further, releasing eight albums until 2016 featuring multimillion streamed tracks like āShut Your Mouthā, āSame Old Songā, āFollow Meā, āZombie Slamā, and āEnd Of The Lineā.
Renowned as a stunning live band, through the past decades PAINās ingenious mix of catchy hooks, dark, tongue in cheek humour, elements from synth/wave, electro, pop, metal and rock stood the test of time by being addictive, danceable, defiant, unique.
