Thin Lizzy is the debut studio album released by Irish rock band Thin Lizzy on 30th April 1971. The album was followed by the New Day EP, produced and recorded by Nick Tauber at Decca Studios and released in August of the same year. It was the band’s first album with the original line up of Phil Lynott (Bass and Vocal), Eric Bell (Guitar) and Brian Downey (Drums). This LP was Thin Lizzy putting all they had into the music and taking risks. It’s passionate, high energy and distinctive.

The 3CD / Blu-Ray features 15 unreleased tracks including the previously unreleased studio track, ‘Beggar’s Song’. The tracklist also includes the rare New Day EP alongside other rarities and BBC sessions. The 3CD format also contains a brand-new stereo mix from Richard Whittaker and comes with a Blu-Ray with a first ever Dolby Atmos Mix. The deluxe set is housed in a rigid 10x10 box and includes a 40-page hardcover book with extensive liner notes by Mojo’s Mark Blake and memorabilia.
