Three gruelling days of blood, sweet, and tears have led to this moment the final climb to the peak of Mount Fuji. Onoda and the Sohoku Bicycle Team have defied all expectations and maintained their pressure on the reigning champions from Hakone Academy. But when Midousuji of Kyoto Fushimi casts aside his final team member, the cyclists from Sohoku and Hakone must work together to survive his brutal assault.

As the finish line nears and seasoned riders sacrifice everything for their teammates, will the first-years from Sohoku, Hakone, and Kyoto Fushimi be left behind, battered and broken on the side of the asphalt? Or will they somehow find the strength within themselves to fight until the very end?
